RE 55-1 (8 personnel)and Squad 1 assisted 53 (Conestoga) on a two vehicle crash, on the 1100 bl. River Hill Rd., in the “Duck Hill” area. First arriving units reported confinement in one vehicle. Engine 53-1 arrived and began to work on door removal. RE 55-1 arrived and assisted with stabilization and extrication. While crews worked the crash, Squad 55-2 (3 personnel) pulled from response to the crash to check out a reported brush fire on River Corner Rd. This incident was determined to be a controlled burn with no services needed.
