R/E 55-1 was sent out to the 100 block of Run Valley Road, in the southern part of the 55 local, for an investigation of smoke in the area, after nearby residents heard an explosion. A small fire involving electrical equipment was found in a fenced substation facility. Units stood by in the area until personnel from the utility company arrived to take care of the situation.
