Chief 55 was contacted by communications regarding a cat in a tree complaint. After determining that the dispatcher was, in fact, serious, Chief 55, who was unavailable to respond, quickly contacted Deputy 55 and Captain 55-2, who both stated they would check into the situation. It was determined that a dog had chased a gray cat up a tree, and the cat’s owner feared that her pet could not descend on it’s own. A small crew was summoned, after which time the cat was safely brought to the ground.
