Engine 55-2 was due on the 60 (West Willow) building assignment in the Willow Run complex, in the village of West Willow. Engine 55-2 was the third arriving unit, behind Tower 50 (Willow Street) and Engine 60. Engine 55-2 secured a water supply for Engine 60 on the working fire, which heavily damaged a multi unit apartment building. Tanker 55 was later added to the assignment. Crews assisted with various suppression and overhaul tasks before taking up.
